Filippo Faldella was born in Bologna, Italy. His research work is within Work-Package 2 (WP2), being ESR7, whose project title is “Combustion performance and emisisions of unconventional fuels” at the Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, Switzerland. He obtained a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2017 and a MSc in Process and Energy Technologies at the Delft University, Netherlands in 2020. His research work during his studies was focused on the study of the flashback phenomenon in high hydrogen content premixed turbulent flames.
His main hobbies are hiking, sailing and motorbikes.
