8. ESR8: Pietro Pagani

Pietro Pagani, was born in Colleferro, Italy. His research work is within Work-Package 2 (WP2) with a project title of “High fidelity CFD simulations of flameless combustión in micro gas turbine operating with alternative fuels” at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. He obtained a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a MSc degree in Space and Astronautical Engineering from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. In the context of his master thesis project he joined the “Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics” and, after the graduation, he was appointed as Research Fellow in the Aeronautic and Aerospace department working on hypersonic re-entry flows and in-depth material response.
