IMPACT

The aim of this project is to contribute to the EU agenda on European Research Area by training “a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers”, who can face future challenges and to “convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit”. In addition, support to and compliance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) will be at the heart of the training of ESRs and the scientific and economic outcomes of this research. Particular attention will focus on how the outcomes will lead to affordable clean energy, flourishing industry innovations and infrastructure supporting the reduction in poverty and hunger, good health and well-being of people, gender equality and diversity, quality of education, clean water and sanitation, reduction in inequalities, peace, justice and strong institutions in the addition to the crucial part it will play in emissions reduction and the resulting effect on climate actions.
