Energy Cultures Winter School (London)

The Energy Cultures Winter School was hosted by City, University of London early in the year on the 17^th and 18^th of January 2023. All current ESRs were present alongside at least one supervisor from each institution. The event covered the interaction between stakeholders of the energy systems and focused on topics relating to demand-side management and response, electricity markets, community, and consumer engagement… There was also a session on the supervision of research projects and a social media training workshop to enhance those skills for ESRs. The winter school ended with a visit to the lab facilities at City and a discussion of the research agendas of the institutions involved.
