6. ESR6: Reyhaneh Banihabib

Reyhaneh Banihabib was born in Tehran, Iran. Her research work is within Work-Package 1 (WP1), being ESR6, whose project title is “Development of real-time smart data analytic tools for monitoring and optimum operation of MGT systems” at the University of Stavanger , Norway. She received her BSc and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Thermo-Fluid Science and Energy Conversion from the University of Tehran in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Before joining NextMGT, Reyhaneh worked as a gas turbine design engineer in the R&D department of MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Co. (TUGA). Her work was mainly focused on gas turbine secondary air system aerodynamics and heat transfer, gas turbine thermodynamic cycle and performance diagnostics. She was involved in the upgrade and design of the turbine section and secondary air system in different MAPNA gas turbines and developing MAPNA F-class gas turbine.
Her main hobbies are watching movies, jogging and playing social-board games.
