Aggelos Gaitanis comes from the town of Kozani which is in the north region of Greece. His position at Université Catholique de Louvain in the project mainly deals with cycle innovations and optimization. More specifically, his role is to optimise micro gas turbine operation for alternative cycles with the use of an in-house dynamic model. Angelos is extremely happy to work in such a project, exchange ideas with the other researchers and meet the challenges in the field of micro gas turbine technology. His extra-curricular activities involve hiking as he enjoys exploring forests and mountain landscapes.
