Martina Raggio was born in Chiavari, Italy. Her research work is titled “Innovative energy storage concepts based on the smart integration of micro gas turbines systems with electrochemical and thermal energy storages devices” at the University of Genoa, Italy. She obtained a MSc in Thermal Power at Cranfield University as part of a double degree programme in conjunction with the University of Genoa. Before joining NextMGT, she has worked as an Engine Environmental Protection Engineer at Rolls-Royce in Derby, United Kingdom. She was involved on projects related to the studies of the behaviour of turbofan engines during the ingestion of atmospheric agents. Her work was mainly focused on the modelling of ice formation and its effects on engine performance.
Her main hobbies are playing tennis and practising yoga.
