ESR8 Pietro Pagani at TTEC
During his secondment at TURBOTEC Pietro Pagani collaborated with Cedric Devriese (TURBOTEC) and masters students under the supervision of prof. Rob Bastiaans (Eindhoven University of Technology).
The secondment activity was done in the framework of the research carried out at TTEC for designing and developing a 100% Hydrogen operating micro gas Turbine. In particular Pietro focused on the combustion chamber design, gaining expertise in several steps of the design process:
- Numerical challenges of modelling pure Hydrogen combustion.
- Understanding of innovative micromix combustion technologies for hydrogen stabilization.
- Using commercial software for CFD design (ANSYS Fluent) and result interpretation.
