ESR13 Giuseppe Tilocca at ETN
The main topic and tasks covered in the secondment were:
- Assist in the kick-off and activities of the Decentralized Energy Systems Working Group (DES WG). The tasks included: i) identifying potential applications in existing or new market niches; ii) assisting the Chairs of the Working Group on technical matters
- Explore the possibility of engaging new end-users within the ETN community
- ETN EU funded R&D projects: learn about the best practices and common challenges found when running R&D projects and consortia
- Present the findings of the NextMGT research and the work of the DES WG at the ETN Annual General Meeting & Workshop held on 29 & 30 March 2022 in front of the major stakeholders from across the entire value chain of gas turbine technology
- Analyse the impact of the current energy crisis and the Russia-Ukraine war on the price of commodities (electricity, fuels, CO2, and materials) and quantify their effect on the levelised cost of electricity.
