METHODOLOGY

The figure below shows a graphical representation of the defined work program including the topics to be addressed within each research work package. The research is accompanied by the following brief descriptions of each work package and the defined Early Stage Researcher (ESR) projects. Given the nature of the project, there will be a strong interconnectivity between each research work package, which will require the continual transfer of knowledge between the different project partners. This transfer of knowledge will be achieved through appropriate secondments, project meetings and networking at the training events. Extensive use of electronic communications and video conferencing tools will overcome the issue of large distance between some of the participant organisations. The programme will also incorporate state of the art digital learning technology and lecture capture to enhance learning for ESRs.
