ESR5 Konstantinos Eleftherious at CITY
During the secondment at City University of London, Konstantinos Eleftheriou worked with Dr. Al-Zaili Jafar and Dr. Ghavami Mohsen from Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics department, under supervision of Prof. Sayma Abdulnaser.
Konstantinos conducted some experimental activities on micro gas turbines. He analysed the experimental data from past test session and he developed a data acquisition interface. Furthermore he conducted some numerical simulations on centrifugal compressors. The work done is related to the following topics:
– Investigation of the correlation between TIT and bearing vibrations on a micro gas turbine
– Thermal storage SCADA
– CFD analysis on Novel centrifugal compressor configurations
